I don't know what I'm missing but, when set the command bar actions equal to disabled it is making them invisible. Would appreciate any ideas on why this might be. Thanks!

Okay, I did a little playing around and found the following (which really doesn't make any sense at all:
I have the following line of code in my program (that I copied from one of the sample projects:
Set ControlEdit = CommandBars.ActiveMenuBar.Controls.Add(xtpControlButtonPopup, ID_TOOLBAR_EDIT, "&Edit")
When I add this line of code on the next line - ControlEdit.Caption = "&Edit" - disabling the button no longer makes it invisible
