Splash Screen for MDI based Application

   Hey guys,

I've followed the examples in the Splash Screen tutorial in the MFC support articles: http://www.codejock.com/support/articles/mfc/general/g_2.asp

The problem I get is that when using the splash screen, my application loses a lot of its functionality. I was wondering if anyone else encountered a similar problem and if anybody knows what the splash screen might be interfering with.
