editcontrol on commandbars changed event

Message Topic Search Topic Options Post Reply Create New Topic Printable Version Translate Topic

   Is there a way to detect when user press a key in a edit control on commandbars like the changed() event in regular textbox?

If so than light up my light because i can't figure it out
