I'm using SkinFramework and Suite Controls (in particular, the tab control at the moment).

Is there no way for the controls to adopt the style of the form as per the SkinFramework settings? Or do I have to individually set each controls colour (or appearance)?

Assuming this is the case, I suppose it would be a bad idea to use these controls with SkinFramework if I wanted to use 3rd party skins. And I guess I can only use the skin styles that are also available within the controls. Are these assumptions correct?

Probably best if I explain it better ...

I'm using VB6 with SkinFramework and other controls from the Suite (tabs, checkbox, frame, etc.)

I set SkinFramework to ANY skin (perhaps a 3rd party skin). So, as an example, let's say I select a skin called "midnight orange".

When I place one of the Suite's controls on the form, it does not automatically take on the appearance of the SkinFramework skin. Is there a way that it can, regardless of what skin is chosen in SkinFramework?

The second part of the question is ... If I choose a common skin using SkinFramework that is also available in the Suite's controls, such as OfficeXP, do I have to manually set every control to OfficeXP appearance or is there an automated way to do it?

Hello,

You have to set UseVisualStyle property to true for SuiteControls and they will automatically use skin.

But the Suite's tab control doesn't have this capability?

Hi

For TabControl change Color property to xtpTabColorWinXP.
