Hi, I'm just looking into this software as I need a replacement for my current command bar software. If I design my CommandBar in the designer is there any way to produce the vb 'code' to create that command bar, or do I have to save it as a .xcb file, and then load it in each time? If so, does that mean I have to distribute the .xcb files with my app? I dont really want any more files to distribute, I would like to do it all in code, but I would like the 'ease' of designing it in the designer first. Thanks for any help, Rob Donovan |

No, you can not get the 'code' from the xcb file. However, you can right-click on the commandbars control on your from, then select Load CommandBars(*.OCX) and it will add your XCB file as a resourse so you don't have to distribute the file. Just call LoadDesignerBars with no parameters to load it.

Hi, Thanks for the quick reply. Thats just what I needed. Your control is certainly much more usable (and supported) than my current supplier. Looks like I might be joining you soon, if things keep going this well ;) Rob. |
