Is there a reason why I can't use a CXTPPropertyGrid on a dialog?

I've added it as a Custom Control, created a control variable, changed that control variable to be of type CXTPPropertyGrid, but the dialog won't load if I do this.

I've seen the examples where the control is created separate via Create using the rectangle of some other control.  I'm unclear as to why I need to do all of this manually with this control but others like the report control work fine being added as a custom control.

Thanks for the help,
Craig

Anyone?  I can log a tech support incident if necessary.  The forum is easier to use/monitor though.
