    Posted: 12 September 2007 at 6:07pm
Hello,

I am using Xtreme Toolkit to dynamically add a menu item and am having trouble specifying the hotkey assignment.  When I add a '&' character to the caption text instead of interperting that for the hotkey assignment it displays the '&' in the caption of the menu item at run-time.  Do you know how I can spcify the hotkey for a menu item that is dynamically created with Xtreme Toolkit?

Thank you,

Phil

Here's the statement that is setting the caption:

CXTPToolBar* pWebToolBar = pCommandBars->Add(_T("Web Toolbar"), xtpBarTop);

Sorry, that code sample is without any '&' symbol, but what I have tried is placing the '&' before several of the letters in that string literal and in the menu it just displays the '&' instead of interpreting it.
