 Hope it worth the wait!

Can you give us some short info regarding any news (if they would exist) on this release, so we do not have to look for any other solutions like:

- Maskedit
- Multicolumn dropdown
- Grid
- ...

Regards.

I'm not sure how to interpret this, does this mean that you're making larger additions which just needs more time than 3 month or that Codejock has shifted its developers/priority from MFC/Active-X to .NET?

Yes, of course, but last year there have been 4 quarterly releases which we won't have this year.

Also the development of .NET components is underway  (http://forum.codejock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=4667) and I wonder whether they have hired additional developers or have shifted the developers from MFC/ActiveX to .NET

But I don't want to start rumors here.

I hope that Codejock serves the native market well for some time to come as well as the managed (WinForms, WPF) market while making mixing and migration easy.

We are planning to release Vol 2 by the end of this month (August). What features are you looking for in the next release?

We are not planning on pulling anyone off MFC or ActiveX development, this just wont happen. We will continue our support and development of our MFC and ActiveX products.

This is of course, is in addition to our new .NET development efforts.

Hi,

I would like to see features like Office 2007 styled MDI tabs and docking panes, TaskDialog support for ActiveX, Office 2007 style property sheets, Mini toolbars, enhancements of the ActiveX SytaxEdit control !

By the way: Are there any news when we can expect a .net version of the suite ???

Not sure on mini toolbar, but I think the rest will be included.

Again, not sure on .net version, it is a very large project and will be released when it is ready.  You can visit beta.codejock.com to try the latest .net controls.

I must admit that I'm very relieved to hear you make this statement. We're planning on improving our native code applications for a LONG time to come, and we depend upon CodeJock to keep them looking spiffy.  :-)
