Topic: Version Upgrade?Posted: 19 February 2007 at 2:38am |

Hello Friends,
In my current application I am using CodeJock version 4.1, now I want to use latest codejock version 10.4.2. My application is huge one and used almost each control from Codejock.
Now my question is "What is the proper way of Codejock version upgrading?"
Thanks,
Prashant.

I'm assuming you mean 10.4.1 to 10.4.2. I just uninstall the existing library then install the new version and do a full re-compile. I had to change no code.
If you really meant 4.1, then I'm guessing you'll have some code changes to make... I stay up on their new releases so I don't get hit with a huge number of changes that have to be tested.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply, but we are using very older version i.e. 4.1
and now we are willing to use 10.4.2.
So can you please explain area of changes. We are using almost every control provided by 4.1
Thanks again.

We are doing Integration of Codejock 10.4.2.
Presently using version 4.1
- Struck at the following problem:
The CXTToolBar class is not existing since the version 8.00.
When we try to replace the old CXTToolBar with CXTPToolBar,
it is giving us errors for many functions: Few are listed below.
GetToolBarCtrl(...)
SetButtonStyle(...).

There is no issue with newly created application, I had already tried this sample. But what about version upgradetion.
Also I want to know which is the replacement class for already existing CXTMDIChildWnd class.
