Hi Oleg,

i am trying to display tooltips in a specific client area (say whenever the mouse hovers in the region of the rect(-500,-500,500,500) in the view of an SDI application using the following function

m_tipWindow.ShowTipWindow(rect, point, 6,0,0, FALSE,TRUE);

i am just following the routine that is been given in TipWindow sample.i.e in the onmousemove function check whether the mousepoint lies in the client area and then call the function showing the tooltip.

but the issue is the tooltip is not getting refreshed.
i.e if i place the mouse in the client area, tooltip appears but simultaneously moving the mouse out of the client area doesnt hide the tooltip.whereas if i do a mouseclick out of the client area the tooltip is getting refreshed. can you just tell me what am i missing.
