Double-clicking the filemenu button should close the application, this change will be made for the RTM of Office 2007 too.

How can I turn it off? Users of my software are not highly educated computer users and a large number of them are using double clicks on EVERYTHING, including buttons. How about you send another message (something like WM_CLOSE_DBLCLK), instead of WM_CLOSE, so one can distinct between the two usages.
Thanks!

We like this feature and just have a dialog with "Are You Sure You Want To Quit?", so user understands in the end what they were doing. It is best to keep to standards as then when a user does this in Office they know they can in your app
