We have an application that, depending on circumstances, will hide a subset of our panes by changing the pane.closed property. When these panes are subsequently made visible again they seem to lose their Hidden property however. So if a pane was hidden before it was closed, when reopened it isn't hidden any more. Looking at the pane object in detail when I close it, it seems that it's impossible for a pane to be both hidden and closed at the same time, so when the pane gets closed it's hidden property is automatically set to False. Is this expected behaviour? Is there any way around it? |
