We are seeing issues with this control where if other windows are displayed over the tabs (dialogs etc), it is possible that the tab colour does not fill correctly but fills the whole child window overwriting the controls within it. (See attached image).

Please advise.

As I understand your problem, you  need to add WS_CLIPCHILDREN|WS_CLIPSIBLINGS for TabControl class in Create method call.
