Couple more issues with syntax edit control

   1) If both syntax highlighting and collapsible nodes are enabled, and
you are viewing an item with collapsible nodes (eg. .cpp code), then if you disable syntax highlighting the collapsible nodes disappear as well.

2) If you enable Thick overwrite caret and click OK, then when you
open the Options dialog again, it's set back to Thin.
