Hi there,

with CXTPRibbonBuilder::LoadFromResource we can create a XTPRibbon from a MFC resource item (type RT_RIBBON). Is this right?

We currently are creating the XTPRibbon programmatically.

How can we serialize a XTP ribbon object to the standard MFC Ribbon XML ressource format? (and then comment out the creation code forever :-) )

The standard serializer for XML seems to write just a proprietary XTP format, but not the official MFC RT_RIBBON format.

Thanks in advance

BeeJay

PS: We need to use RT_RIBBON because our localization tool does not support proprietary, user-defined resource type.
