I've just downloaded the pre-built 13.2 version of the ribbon sample (I thought it would be quicker than building it!) as I wanted to see whether the new white and scenic File menus are fully implemented in the final 13.2 release. The file properties label the exe version as 13.2.0.3 .

It is disappointing to find that the final 13.2 release still just uses the text string "File" (which for some inexplicable reason has the "F" underlined) rather than an icon as used in native Windows 7 apps. This just looks wrong as it is neither Office 2007 nor Windows 7 in style. Is there any way to get the proper Windows 7 appearance?

However, it also appears that your pre-built Ribbon app does not change color when the Options > Style command is used (eg Options > Style > White updates the File menu but does NOT change to the white color).

Downloaded pre-built application, "White" Style (incorrect colors, but does switch to the new "File menu" style):

I then rebuilt the SDI ribbon sample myself using Visual Studio 2008 and this DOES correctly change color (see below for the "White" color scheme)--it looks as if your pre-built sample file download is broken for some reason....

One other thing while I remember--the native Windows 7 applications (Paint and Wordpad) also left-align the text in their title bars, which CodeJock ribbon applications do not:

I suppose if you want your "Scenic" style to replicate the Windows 7 ribbon-style application appearance then the title bar text should change alignment too. (???)

And yet another problem: when you maximize the "scenic" or "white" schemes then the application icon is drawn so that it is clipped off the edge of the screen. For example, with the Ribbon sample:

See how the CodeJock icon in the top left of the image is displaced and clipped.

Ooops, my fault--I had got the styles DLLs in the same directory as the executable . Putting them in a "Styles" folder fixes this particular issue with the downloaded application. The other issues still stand though...

We also hope these are fixed soon, as we wanted to launch new versions of our applications but we have decided to most probably wait for these fixes first.
Thank you,
