With the RibbonBar (eg using the Sample program) if you doubleclick the large System Button, it closes the program.
I expect this is working as designed. But is this the standard GUI behaviour for ribbon bars? And is there a way to trap this (apart from the event Form_QueryUnload) ? |

Hi,
Yes, its designed, and sure users wait such behavior.
Its possible to Subclass main frame and catch "WM_SYSCOMMAND" message with "SC_CLOSE | HTSYSMENU" parameter

Isn't this standard windows behaviour? If you double-click the control box (top left hand corner of a windows application) it will close. Double-clicking on Excel 2007's Office button closes Excel. This behaviour has been in place since 1492 when Columbus bumped into the Americas. :)

I just tried it and it works. Double click closes any app.
Well I never knew that. (or needed it). (and I've been using Windows since v1). |
