JSram and I have been trading some regex patterns for use with the FlatEdit control to support various numbering requirements. See this thread: https://forum.codejock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=12541
I decided to try and create some code that would automatically generate the regex pattern for an arbitrary range of values and decimal places so that it would be easy to use in a variety of situations (only handles positive numbers for now). This is probably the scariest code that I've written in a while, but in my limited testing so far, it does seem to work. Feel free to try the demo and use/modify the code in any way you like. Comments, corrections, improvements & questions are welcome of course! VB6 source & Demo exe: uploads/20081028_233529_FlatEditPattern.zip |

I'm glad to you found it useful! Sometimes I'm not sure if anyone ever visits this part of the forum, so it's good to see someone got some use out of it ;)
