I found a shadow bug in XTP 12, Vista Ultimate. Just try by dropping a Gallery or a Font combo then right-clicking to show the context menu. You should see the shadow part of the context menu doesn't show on the Gallery of the Font combo. Please take a look at the screen below for more information.

Confirmed we also have this issue, however only for the shown menu, our custom menus we have work fine.

Tested with XTP latest (12.1.1), the problem is still existing.
