Try this in the Ribbon sample project. Click the System Button, then right-click on the Options button and select Add To Quick Access Toolbar. Do the same for the Exit Sample button. The buttons get added to the QAT as shown here:
![]() My problem is with the background not looking like the rest of the buttons. My customer thinks the button looks "pressed." I've debugged and found that this traces to cloning the CXTPRibbonControlSystemPopupBarButton onto the QAT. That object's ::Draw function always blasts the RIBBONSYSTEMMENUBUTTON bitmap onto the screen.
I worked around this on the QAT dialog (since I have already copied and customized the heck out if it) by trapping this class of control and cloning it onto a regular button, but I don't see how to get around the customer getting into this pickle using the workflow I outlined above.
Any suggestions?
