Hi

Still not able to find a FAST way to manage 100000 records with sort, group and filter! Paging? Virtual mode loses group and filter.

Anyone?

Not sure what type of feedback you're looking for. This seems to be a limitation of all similar controls that I have used in the past that provide grouping capabilities - they track all field data internally in order to provide such abstractions, thereby limiting scalability.

The only solution is virtual mode. I've yet to find a report/list control that will support a combination of both virtual mode *and* grouping (filtering, by the way, is straight-forward to implement in your own code using virtual mode).

I would love to see support for a combination of virtual mode and grouping. But I'm not sure its feasible to generalize such behavior - you need a highly specialized control, similar to what MS Outlook uses.
