When dragging a floating pane onto a tabbed container, I find no way to select where the dropped pane will appear as a new tab. There appears only a preview at the left border of the tab list. After dragging the new pane is always appended at the very right.

Example: "Pane 10" is floating. I want to drag it between "Pane 2" and "Pane 7":

But when dragging there is no way to select the target destination. And whereever I drop it, it will always appear after "Pane 3" in the tabbed container:

Browsers like Google Chrome let you choose where to insert a floating window in a list of tabs.
Is this also possible with XtremeToolkit / MFC? Or do I have to manually implement it?

Thank you for any help on this.

Please note that repositioning an existing tab in a tabbed container is possible and works fine.

Hello,

Looks like this posibility is absent.
