Codejock -
It has been my experience that one should not rely on the design-time features of an IDE, instead relying on pure code to get the job done. As long as the IDE does not modify your code, things should be ok in the long run. But... It has also been my experience that each time I've upgraded my components (9.6 -> 9.8 -> 10.1), the design-time properties of Codejock compenents in Visual Studio .NET 2003 get CLOBBERED! If it were just things like the VisualTheme, I could deal with it, however, it's not. The entire behavior of TaskPanel is reset... fonts are reset... the Caption property of ShortcutCaption controls are empty! Please tell me why this is happening and what can be done to prevent it in the future. Thanks ~ jp |

I like mathematics because it is not human and has nothing particular
to do with this planet or with the whole accidental universe — because, like Spinoza's God, it won't love us in return. |
