CXTPMenuBar - Getting a sub menu control & hide it

   I have successfully hid a CXTPControl from a CXTPToolBar:

pToolBar->GetControls()->FindControl(ID_FILE_NEW)->SetVisible(FALSE);

but when I try do the same action with a CXTPMenuBar an exception is thrown:

pMenuBar->GetControls()->FindControl(ID_FILE_NEW)->SetVisible(FALSE);

pMenuBar->GetControls() could not find ID_FILE_NEW control.

any ideas ?
