Creating the docking pane CWnd

   Why is the best place to create the CWind associated with the docking pane is in the XTWM_DOCKINGPANE_NOTIFY Handler?  
What if I need to access the CWnd even before the docking pane is visible.  I might need to load one of the controls that is embedded in a pane that is initially slid in?
