The article What You Need to Know About CommandBar Control IDs states that control IDs must be in the range from 100-9000.
We have hundreds of IDs that are above this range. Aside from conflicting with the Special\Reserved Control IDs what are the consequence of using command IDs 9001-65535?

I had never noticed that myself - and also have almost all of my IDs above 9000 and never have had a problem.
