Hi,
Updating a statusbar pane with another text, the pane will not be resized to full size.
Set Pane = sbStatusBar.AddPane(ID_LOGIN_USER)
Pane.IconIndex = ID_LOGIN_USER Pane.Width = 0 ''autosize When switching to another user, the username must be updated
CommandBars.StatusBar.FindPane(ID_LOGIN_USER).Text = txtUserName
This will not resize the statusbar pane. Only when property .Width is changed, the pane is resized. Why doesn't the pane resize automatically?
Thanks in advance

Hi,
Call Width = 0 again after you change Text.

Oleg,
So this is the standard procedure? Change the .Width? Maybe the software engineers could implement autoresize after a pane has been changed.
