Hi, I am trying to get a leftside docking to work correctly with the commandbar ribbon in an MDI form. My problem is that the docked pane uses the whole screen hight, not the just area underneath the command bar window. I am using the GuiExample as a guide and while that works correctly, but I cannot find the difference between that and what I am doing. I hope someone can help! I've attached the project in its current form: I am using version 12.0.1 20081217_065842_Project.zip |

Nick,
Any chance you could shed some light on what forum posting you found that resolves this! I have the exact same issue and I am following the example with no luck.
Thanks for any help you can give.

Ok I found out what was the cause of this... Basically you need to send the Dockingpane Control to the back when added to a project after the CommandBars controls.
For anyone else having this issue please see: http://www.codejock.com/support/articles/com/dockingpane/dp_3.asp

Hi Xander,
I'm glad you found the answer, though I found it in the forum, not in the articles where you found it. I'm not sure if it has to be explicity "at the back" of all controls, I think the important thing is that one of the two controls is above the other. I believe I solved it by bringing the control CommandBars control "To the front" ... the difference is marginal and I may be wrong.
I've been working with Codejock controls for around 2 months now, and I think that 90% of my problems have been resolved by trawling the forums for similar posts.
If I could give a suggestion to Codejock, it would be to change the search function "Find Posts" default from "Last 6 months" to "all posts" as I have to change it every time!
thanks
