Hi Does the user need admin rights to run the code below? I am getting active x errors with a clients PC’s Does it write a value into the registry?
The control works if its placed on form

UPDATE: I do need admin rights to run that code, But don't to use the control on a form!!!!

Hi, No, you don't need admin rights for this code. But ActiveX have to be registered when you run it.

Hi Oleq
Heres another update.
The control was registered, under the Admin login, this was OK for all the controls on the form, but not for the code access.
When we registered the control with the user login ( Temperay Admin rights) it worked.
I'm still not sure why this is, but hey it works now.
