ShellAutoComplete in CommandBarCombox is real cool, but wouldn't it be perfect if there is e method like AddHistoryItem() to add items to IE-UrlHistory and MRU-List ? That make sense, because the user expect to get the new items, which he already typed into the ComboBox, to be listed too on next application start.

Hi,
Its IE internal. when you use Navigate method of WebBrowser url will be saved automatically.

due to privacy, WebBrowser Ctl with IE7 and higher doesn't do that.
 
It seems to be nescessary to add Items to History on your own.
 
 
BTW for you C++ guys @CodeJock, look into UrlHist.h and make all the Interfaces there available for ActiveX users
