Hi
we bought Codejock to dismiss older suites, now i speak about APEX TrueDBGrid.
with APEX TrueDBGrid we can create a grid at Design Time binding it to a Data Source (ADODataControl or ADO Recordset); we use to do:
At design time:
1) in a form create and populate a Data Source + empty TDBGrid
2) Set TDBGrid.DataSource = MyDataSource
3) RightMouse to the control and choose command 'Retrieve Filelds' --> Will set all Column Name and DataType <-- This is the fantastic tool we use and need
4) Copy the Grid and Paste in the form we need

we have to change more than one hundred Grid, if can create Codejock Grid that way we can save weeks of work.

Did you ever solve this? I'd like an editable auto-complete text box that will allow users to add new items to the constraints list.

I'm adding a button to a child and I need it to fill the full width of the value field. I have looked for the width property in ValueMetrics to assign it to the button but it doesn't exist. How can I do it?

Hello !

I need to perform the following use case: I use a PropertyItemString and intercept the keyup event to perform a search in the db with matching results. I take the first 10 results and add them to the child with the :constraints:Add() method so they are displayed and selectable, but this causes the PropertyItemString to become "Not Editable". Is there any solution for this use case in the PropertyGrid control?

In a PropertyItemDouble control I need the mask to be with the thousands separator and with fewer decimal places than the number passed.
For example, if I pass the number 1000000.1234, I want the edition to be 1,000,000.12
I have tried it with SetMask('#.###.###,##','_.___.___,__') but it doesn't work. Any idea how I can do it?

InitCommonControls, Why is needed?
I tried the sample without those instructions and worked fine.
I also removed the manifest file from the sample and also worked fine.
Is the manifest file is really necessary?
Please let me know if it is for compatibility or for other reason.

If I add a PropertyGridItemOption that has CheckBoxStyle = True and add some Constraints to this, the result is a list of checkboxes, where I have the option to select multiple. But the result or the return value of this item is a numerical value. I do not understand how this numerical value is calculated and have not found this in the documentation. Resizing the help area causes the propertygrid to go blank.
This is reproducible in the C# propertygrid sample.


Increase height of help area and the property grid goes blank.
(note, resizing the form will bring back the display of the propertygrid.

Codejock version: 19.3.0 ActiveX.
Is there a patch or fix available for this behavior?
