Hi,

I have an application that comes in five different languages. The user can select to run any of these five languages regardless of the language and regional settings of the operating system.

My problem is then that the Calendar in Codejock is using the Regional setting of Windows.

This means that the name of days and month are not in the same language as the rest of the program.

Is there a way to get Codejock to use weekday and month names other than from the Regional settings?
Ideally it should be only the names that done this way, the date and time formatting I would like to have according to regional setting.

The calendar seem to have working hours by default set to 8 am to 5 pm, or 8.00-17.00.

The background color is different for work hours and non-work hours.

How do I change work hours to e.g 9 am to 4 pm?

This setting seems to do nothing.

For 60 minutes time scale the time is shown as 06:00, 07:00 etc regardless of the setting, and for all other time scale settings the time is shown as 06, 07 etc regardless of the setting.

How come? Why is the setting not used?

I have tried setting this in the calendar sample application.

I would like to have it consistent, so that it always shows the time as 06, 07 etc.

Hello.

I'm trying to set a range of dates within a month that users cannot go under or above that range.

I'm looking at the Date Picker demo and even though I set a range of dates (say in the middle of the month), the month will still show a full month (non-month days notwithstanding).

Is there a way to hide / deactivate unwanted dates?

The only way to get a pointer to the current month via CXTPDatePickerItemMonth* is the virtual function CXTPDatePickerControl::HitTest() but it's const so I can't modify anything within it.

Any help appreciated.

I am new to the calendar control. I am using a custom data provider and am trying to figure out how to obtain the date range of the current view so that I can populate the days from a database. Which event fires when the date range of the current view changes? Also, if the date range is already populated, do I have to remove and re-populate the events or can the be refreshed? Any information is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I've been using MS Active X calendar in many Access applications but since it won't work in Access 64 bit I'm trying out CodeJock Calendar's DatePicker as a substitute.

I have a text box onthe continuous form footer that has the following expression in its controlsource:

=0,7*WorkingDays(DateSerial(Year([Forms]![prev]![CGior]);Month([Forms]![prev]![CGior]);0);DateSerial(Year([Forms]![prev]![CGior]);Month([Forms]![prev]![CGior])+1;0))-Nz(DLookUp("CountofGiorno";"Query11");0)

Where CGior is the MSCalendar name.

What would you use inthis case in place of

[Forms]![prev]![CGior])?

I am using Codjock 18.6.0 VS 2008

Calendar control works fine with one calendar (default connection) in MAPI provider.

1. Can I load outlook calendar with MAPI data provider from other user then default user?

In calendar demo example is only one option for MAPI provider: "User default connection".

When I change demo code I allways get calendar from default user

or error:

I canged connect string from

strConnectionString.Format(_T("Provider=MAPI"));

strConnectionString.Formatr(_T("provider=mapi;mapiProfileName=testuser;mapiFlags=0x12"));

2. When I need multiple user data, do I need to create more than one data provider object?
