Author: Mark Swaisgood
Subject: 963
Posted: 21 July 2004 at 2:08pm

I have a program that generates 2 panes at the bottom and later 1 or 2 panes at the top. If only the 2 bottom panes are there, the autohide works fine. If there are panes at the top when I pin the bottom panes, then if I move onto the autohide tab, I see the requested tab scroll up to the top and then disappear with top pane showing again. The cycle repeats as along as the mouse is over the tab. On a faster machine, there are just quick flashes of the autohidden pane.

Based on other posts, I tried adding the following to all child windows.

cs.style |= WS_CLIPCHILDREN|WS_CLIPSIBLINGS;

This did not solve the problem.

Any ideas?

Mark
