    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://forum.codejock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=3624">phil_the_lick</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 9608<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 19 February 2008 at 12:27pm<br /><br />Further info:<br><br>In the call to LoadSkin() the function CXTPSkinManager::ReadSkinData() is failing on line 564:<br>if(!m_pResourceFile-&gt;Open(strResourcePath, strIniFileName))<br><br><br>strResourcePath points to myappdir\\Office2007.cjstyles<br>strInitFileName is NULL<br><br>The Office2007.cjstyles and Vista.cjstyles were copied from the Bin\vc90\Styles folder.<br><br>I also copied:<br>Office2007Aqua.dll<br>Office2007Black.dll<br>Office2007Blue.dll<br>Office2007Silver.dll<br><br>from the Source\Styles folder.<br><br>This worked fine on the eval version, now even on my debug build on the actual toolkit its gone pete tong!<br><br><br><br>]]>

On a debug build the main window and all dialogs are skinned very nicely.<br><br>On a release build, the dialogs lose the skin effect and go back to being xp dialogs, although the main app window is still skinned.<br><br>I started this application up with the evaluation version of the toolkit and pasted it together from various samples, and have now purchased the toolkit properly.<br><br>All eval versions were removed before the install of the main toolkit.<br><br>OS win xp. VS 2008 pro trial.<br><br>]]>
