I got a message box saying that mspdb80.dll could not be found.

I tried a different system that has VS 2008 and found that everything worked. It appears I have a corrupt installation of VS 2008. I will try a reinstall/repair.

Funny that I could build from the workspace though.

First of all I have 2 GB of RAM and I can build from the workspace. Since the command window flashes by I can't see if there is any error displayed. My guess is that the command line build environment is not being set up properly for VS2008. It looks like the path to vcvars32.bat is correct though.
