We are trying the codejock calendar activeX component with custom dataprovider connecting to Oracle database.

We are using the vb sample provided in the component and it works fine except for one thing.

When we create a recurring event in the calendar control and create an exception for one occurrence the calendar display the events correctly, and they are correctly stored in our database. In the database, we have two events (one for the master event and one for the exception) and one recurrence pattern.

 

But, when we retrieve the stored events from the database, the excepctions are displayed, but the occurrence (which was marked as exception before using MarkAsRException method) for the same day is displayed too.

 

We have debug the code and we have seen that for that day we have an occurrence event (with a temporary event Id) and an exception event.

 

Should this occurrence be deleted manually or the calendar should handle this functionality?
