Here's my take, but your mileage may vary.</P><P>1. Pretty good. And because you have source code, you can always tweak things anyways (worries about upgrades aside).</P><P>2. Never tried it.</P><P>3. Or that.</P><P>4. I suspect that you are looking at a support limitation rather than a genuine licensing issue. In other words, they won't support unlisted platforms - and particularly ones that are not even out of alpha testing.</P>]]>

Is it easy to extend the functionality of the toolkit?&nbsp; Many system (i.e. VCL) make it very hard to extend functionality by using "proper" object oriented techniques that makes too much of the internals inaccessible.&nbsp; Although technically correct, it can make it very hard to deal with bugs and insufficiencies in a toolkit.<br><br>2. Is it easy to add new in place edit controls in the property editor?<br><br>3. Can the docking system be easily modified to use a different data store for the persistent information?<br><br>4. The license agreement states that the toolkit can not be ported to operating systems others than the ones listed.&nbsp; To me this implies that the toolkit can not be used with Longhorn.&nbsp; Is this a correct interpretation? ]]>
