No, I don`t think so.
When I use the reportcontrol like a treeview and add a checkbox to each node, the checkbox is checked or unchecked when I double click on a node to expand it or I click on the node to select it.

I think, you need a designchange, because a normal CheckBox will send also the ClickEvent regardless if the cursur is in the checkbox or on the text.
 
This behavior will now be corrected.

We are reviewing 11.2.1 functionality for an upgrade from 10.4.2  and have notcied the behavior of the ItemCheck Event has changed. In 10.4.2 the ItemCheck event would fire only when the check box was explictly clicked. Now in 11.2.1 the ItemCheck event is fired when the text (or item itself) in the column is clicked, not just an explicit checkbox click. This is a problem when we want to click or double click on the row without an Itemcheck event firing.
 
Is there a way to use the 10.4.2 functionality in 11.2.1 or do we need to make a design change?
