Thanks - but I have no problem creating the layout above using a picture box, label and commandbar etc...in a picture box and adding it to the commandbar as a customcontrol.  But then I dont get the ribbon background as is shown.
 
So there must be a way of adding those item individually to the ribbon as group items if you see what I mean.
 
So the first item is a picture of the house on the left, the second is probably the label and the third is the textbox which is somehow placed below the label, and finally the search button which is aligned left of the text box.

I am basically trying to produce a ribbon group similar to the one below.  How do I place an Icon on the left and then a Search box with a label above it?  I’m sure there is a simple way using the control.
