Author: blazej
Subject: 8465
Posted: 18 October 2007 at 2:38pm

Hello,

We're using CommandBars and DockingPane version 11.1.3 on Windows XP, VS 2005, in a C#-based project. I have the following strange problem:

1. In the main toolbar / menubar, click on an item that displays a dialog box.
2. OK or Cancel the dialog box.

After this, when I try to activate the same toolbar / menu item, nothing happens. I'm not even getting the ExecuteEventHandler event... It's as if the menu and toolbar suddenly became dead (but not disabled - I can still go into the menus etc., it's just that the menu items and toolbar buttons I click don't respond).

The weird thing is that I checked this on the computers of some of my colleagues, and it seems to work fine there...

My question is: how do I troubleshoot this problem? I can't debug the ActiveX stuff, obviously...

Any hints will be appreciated.

Best,
Michal Blazejczyk

PS: I have version 9.81 also installed on my machine.
