Is there any way to create a property grid with no catagories?

I want to add some PropertyGridItemBool items that act like catagories, ie. I will give them a different color and add some child items to them.  I want to use these instead of the text catagories that are typically used.
 
I can also see it being a useful feature if you just have a long list of items and don't want to add just one top level catagory.
 
Anyone?
