The transparent property works fine for pushbutton and label.

Can this be done for checkbox, radiobutton in future release?

Also, slider control needs this property (along with backcolor and appearance).

Hello,
 
Transparent property works only for TabControl.
You can set BackColor property to make it looks like transparent.

thanks for the help, but I used the same settings and the checkbox remains with a solid background.

hi,
set the UseVisualStyle=True
then
transparent=True
 
and you will see that it will be transparent
 
it worked for me..

I have an impression that he Online Help says ... Transparent property is useful only when using XP Theme... However, I am not sure for this. Maybe it is so, but take the Label for comparison. The same Transparent property works exactly as expected, so why behaves the Checkbox different?

I get the impression that the Transparent property was added by Codejock specifically so that the control is drawn correctly when placed on a Codejock tabcontrol page, and not necessarily providing true transparency.

I may be wrong but that certainly seems to be how it behaves...

Hello,

it seems that there might be some problem with the current CheckBox. I have a form with a gradient image as background. Over this image I have some controls which allow the gradient to be displayed correctly as backgound when I set the property to Transparent. Nothing happens when I do this to a CheckBox. With Transparent set to False, I get a solid background of the same color as BackColor, if I set Transparent to True, the background becomes a solid gray.

What is happening? Am I missing something here or is this a bug? (Using version 11.2.)
