Don't think toolkit is reason. Check your PreCreateWindow or OnCreate method.

Hi all.

We moved to XT 10.2 recently and in one App I have now the problem that the method LoadFrame() of the mainframe (called in InitInstance()) immediatly puts an entry into the taskbar and opens the window whereas in the old version using XT 2.0 this was only done when ShowWindow() was called.

Our old program version was compiled with VC6 (VS6) wheras the new version is compiled with VC8 (VS2005).

In the old Toolkit Version our CMainFrame was derived from CXTMDIFrameWnd. In Toolkit 10.2 it is through various templates derived from CXTPFrameWndBase -> CXTPCommandBarSiteBase -> CMDIFrameWnd.

I'm not even sure it has anything to do with the Toolkit, maybe something different with newer MFC? (old: VC6 new: VC8)

I know this is very little info, but before rambling on I'd like to check if I'm searching in the right direction here.
