On Rbutton Click of the mouse on the View I am creating a popupmenu and displaying the same. This works fine when the right click is done on cetner of the view or where their is enough space to show the popup menu in drop down. But the issue comes when the popup menu drops up (towards top). It sends a WM_RBUTTONUP message and WM_PAINT message immediatley after RBUtton Down and popmenu is shown, which will force repainting the view. Why is this scenario not seen in case of popup menu is dropped down.

I think that the mouse cursor in case of Popup menu dropped down is few pixels inside the menu and in popup menu shown towards up the mouse cursor is just out of the menu and is on the view, which will send the mouse up messsage and paint message immediately.

Can you please suggest on this.
