The image below shows 3 of the SkinFramework styles. followed by the standard system appearance. As mentioned, increasing the height within reason doesn't help.

With the "UpDown" property selected with the DTPicker (such as when used to select time) set to a standard 315 or 330 height (or even larger), the up/down arrows are almost not visible or appear crammed in. Some 3rd party msstyles work ok, but none of the cjstyles do. It depends on the style used as to how bad the appearance is.
