Yes, it will allow set text color for individual tabs.

but will this let each ribbon tab have it's own tab text colour, or will this just override all colours to be the same, also do you have any examples showing this working to make sure it is what we require ?

Hello,

Create new class derived from CXTPTabPaintManager::CColorSetOffice2003 and override its SetTextColor method.
set it with
pTabPaintManager->SetColorSet(new CMyRibbonColorSet);

Is it possible to change the colour of a ribbon tab (actual name) as for example we have an "Activate" tab which we want to be made more visible than other tabs as this is what users click to purchase our product.
