I'm using a CXTHyperLink on top of an owner-drawn list box.

The hyperlink is configured (colors set, text set) for each WM_DRAWITEM the item below it receives.

However, if my window is not the foreground window, the hyperlink literally disappears (it's there, because I can see it with spyxx but it doesn't appear)

Invalidating/redrawing/sending fake mouse messages/timer messages, movewindow(), setwindowpos() all do NOTHING to remedy this.

I know it is a problem with the XTHyperLink because if I replace it with a CStatic, this doesn't occur.
