    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://forum.codejock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=2779">reggie</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 6996<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 27 April 2007 at 6:46pm<br /><br />Editing via the right click may be easier, but it's not what I need.&nbsp; We have several forms that use the same basic Commandbar.&nbsp; When a change needs to be made, I was hoping to make it in one .xcb, store that as a&nbsp;resource and each form would then load the updated design from this resource.&nbsp; Otherwise I would have to make a change in 10 different forms!&nbsp;&nbsp; The load from resource would be more efficient and easier to maintain.<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>This is the line of code I'm using:</DIV><DIV>CommandBars.LoadDesignerBars 101, App.hInstance</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>After building the executable I used a resource viewer (reshacker)&nbsp;to make sure that resource 101 is actually of type RCDATA and that it is actually .xcb data.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Still cannot get it to work.&nbsp; Any suggestions?</DIV>]]>

Will work with vb6 also.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>But for Vb6 think easy use designer - right click on control and choose edit.</DIV>]]>
