please check RibbonSample. You can catch Up/Down events and increase/decrease Edit as you need.

Is there a way to set a range for the CEditControl::ShowSpinButtons() feature added in 10.4.1? 

Also, are decimal numbers allowed , i.e. 5.25, 5.26 etc?
