have you ever tried UltimateGrid (http://www.theultimatetoolbox.com). They have themes support, but I don't know how good it integrates into the codejock library

The report control is not the same as a grid control, but I guess some controls could be shared between the two.

Not a bad idea.
Though, why not use CXTPReportControl? You can easily customize the inplace-controls to match such a grid control.

Are there any plans to include a grid control in the toolkit?

I'm currently using a modified version of the MFC Grid Control  (http://www.codeproject.com/miscctrl/gridctrl.asp), but it doesn't match the Office 2007 theme well.
